Our Review:
Spyware Cease is a new, but quite effective anti-spyware program. It was designed to remove all kinds of threats and infections, such as spyware, adware, keyloggers, trojans, worms, hijackers, rootkits, password stealers, tracking threats, rogue antispyware and other malware. 2-spyware.com research center had carefully tested Spyware Cease on several computers including already infected systems. The application passed our tests showing quite good results.
Our Review:
SpyNoMore scans, cleans and blocks spyware as well as any other good anti-spyware product, but with one big advantage, Custom Fix (patent pending). Spyware programs are growing more sophisticated by the day. Spyware writers show up to work daily and write new spyware programs, which keeps them a step ahead of anti-spyware programs. Hence, relying on detection database updates alone is proving less and less effective. That is why we came up with Custom Fix that is a unique tool that guarantees removal of any infection. Described briefly, if your PC is infected with a stubborn spyware that is just not being removed by conventional anti-spyware methods, Custom Fix allows you to upload a report to our server for manual review. Our Technical Support Staff will review your report, pin-point the problem, and issue you back a 'Fix' that is specifically tailored to address your problem.
Our Review:
SpyZooka is a lightweight application at only 5.19MB when installed. As such it is fast (Quick scan takes no more than 3 minutes, while the Full Scan is usually completed in around 15 minutes) and doesn’t use a lot of system resources – CPU usage is next to nil while idle and still quite insignificant when scanning. The program did good in most of the tests we ran and found most of the spyware samples on an infected computer. We also tried it on a clean system and were able to conclude that SpyZooka doesn’t generate false positives. The program’s scans are not solely signature-based, but uses other techniques as well, thus adding to the decent 67,000 signature database.
